The Longhorn Thematic English course books have been written to facilitate the teaching and learning of English in lower primary. In our bid to make learning English easy and fun,we have spared no effort in ensuring that the books are simple and user-friendly for learners, irrespective of their backgrounds or prevailing conditions.
The Longhorn Thematic English, Pupil’s Book Three fully covers every concept in the 12 topics intended for the learners of English in Primary Three. It aims at building on what the learners have covered in lower classes in order to consolidate the skills they have acquired in the English language.
A lot of effort has been made to ensure that all the language items the learner needs at this level are covered. The exercises and activities in each of the 12 themes have been designed to test whether the learners have acquired the intended skills and competences as laid out in the curriculum.
The activities provided in each theme are organised in a way that will enable active learning to take place in an enjoyable manner. The book is designed such that different tasks in each of the 12 themes give learners the opportunity to actively participate in the learning process as they share knowledge and experience.
We believe that this book will enable every learner to acquire the vocabulary,grammar and structures necessary for using the English language fluently.

English, Learner’s Book senior 3
UGX 20,000Longhorn Secondary English, Learner’s Book senior 3, is a new course Learner-Instruction Book that has been recommended by the Ministry of Education and Sports, for use in Uganda Secondary Schools.
