The Longhorn Primary English, Pupil’s Book five fully covers every concept In the 8 topics intended for the learners of English in Primary five. It aims at housebuilding the learners have covered in lower classes in order to consolidate the skills they have acquired in the English language. The exercises and activities in each of the 8 topics have been designed to test if the learner has acquired the Intended skills and competences as laid out In the curriculum.
The activities provided In each theme are organised in a way that will enable active learning to take place in an enjoyable manner. The book ris designed such that different tasks in each of the 8 topics give learners the opportunity to actively participate In the learning process as they share knowledge and experience.
We have also prepared a Teacher’s Guide for all instructors who will be walking the learners through this material.
We believe that this book will enable every learner to acquire the vocabulary,grammar and structures necessary for applying the four skills while using the English language.
